This Career Pathway Certificate of Completion is designed to capture a student's progress at a specific point of their fire science coursework. With coursework focused on professionalism, volunteer experience, building construction and fire behavior, as well as structural firefighting and other skills, students will develop professional skills vital to the fire service. Students seeking an entry level job or professional development will benefit from the Fire Science Level II Career Pathway Certificate of Completion.
Graduation Requirements
Students must complete a minimum of 24 credit hours with a cumulative Grade Point Average (GPA) of 2.0 or better. All courses must be passed with a grade of ‘C’ or better.
Courses that are developmental in nature, (designed to prepare students for college transfer courses), are not applicable to this degree.
Complete the graduation application process one term prior to the term of completion (e.g., spring term graduates must apply during winter term).
